What You'll Do as a Physician Assistant:

• Diagnose and treat minor illnesses and injuries: Evaluate patients, conduct physical exams, and prescribe appropriate treatment plans for common conditions such as colds, flu, sprains, and minor fractures.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests: Request and interpret laboratory tests, such as blood tests, urinalysis, and X-rays, to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Perform minor surgical procedures: Perform minor procedures, such as suturing wounds, draining abscesses, and removing foreign objects.
• Provide patient education: Educate patients about their conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care measures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers: Work in collaboration with other healthcare providers, such as physicians, nurses, and medical technicians, to provide comprehensive patient care.
