What You'll Do as a Assistant:

• Prepare specimens for testing: Collect, label, and process samples such as blood, urine, and tissue for laboratory analysis.
• Perform basic laboratory procedures: Conduct routine laboratory tests, following established protocols and using laboratory equipment.
• Maintain laboratory equipment: Clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
• Record and report test results: Accurately record test results, maintain laboratory records, and report findings to medical professionals.
• Assist medical technologists: Provide support to medical technologists in performing complex laboratory procedures and analyzing test results.
