What You'll Do as a Counselor:

• Provide academic counseling: Assist students with course selection, academic planning, and career exploration.
• Offer personal counseling: Help students address personal, social, and emotional issues, such as stress, anxiety, and relationship problems.
• Facilitate college and career planning: Guide students through the college application process and provide career counseling services.
• Coordinate student support services: Work with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to ensure that students receive the necessary support services, such as tutoring, counseling, and special education.
• Advocate for students: Represent students' interests and needs, and advocate for policies and programs that support student success.
